All English Danmei Releases and Preorders in August 2025

August may be sultry, but at least we’ll have some good books to read by the pool this month. This is a list of all announced releases and preorders from Seven Seas, Rosmei, Via Lactea, Hai Tang, and Aloha Comics in August in one place. I’ll keep this updated throughout the month of August, and do my best to add in additional publishers as they show up.

What are you most excited about? I’m excited to start reading To Rule in a Turbulent World once v. 5 is available. I only like to read completed stories, but I’m collecting a few along the way in the hopes that I love them: Dinghai Fusheng Records, To Rule in a Turbulent World, and Art Thou Ailing? are in that lot! I’ve also already read the fan translations for Joyful Reunion (review coming soon!) and Ballad of Sword and Wine, but I’m buying the volumes as they’re released to support the authors and show the publishers that there’s a real market for danmei.
