To celebrate Xie Lian’s birthday, Bilibili released a short film trailer. It’s just over a minute long, but if you looked at the length and thought, “eh this isn’t worth getting excited about,” you would be very wrong.
We get their first kiss, we get a bashful Xie Lian in robes, we get Hua Cheng apologizing for troubling His Highness. This is absolutely amazing. Even better, this appears to be a trailer for season 3, not just a fun extra–meaning we’re going to get more Heaven Official’s Blessing one day!
